ManAboutWorld is a new magazine with a twenty-year history. In 1992, Billy Kolber co-founded OUT&ABOUT, the ground-breaking gay travel newsletter. He was the Editor in Chief, until handing the reins over to Ed Salvato. They both moved to PlanetOut in an acquisition that happened three days before the Nasdaq crashed in 2000. PlanetOut eventually folded OUT&ABOUT into OUTtraveler magazine, which it stopped publishing in 2008.
